The email you receive indicating your item has been cancelled includes the reason that your request was denied. Accordion Closed<\/span><\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n <\/a>\n \n \n\n Articles and book chapters<\/h5>\n Articles and electronic materials do not have a due date and therefore cannot be overdue. However, your electronic materials will become unavailable from your document delivery account after 60 days. You are welcome to download the material at your convenience to keep in your personal files.<\/p>\n Books and other physical items<\/h5>\n The strap that accompanies books and other physical items includes the due date for the item. Any items returned after this due date will be considered overdue.<\/p>\n For overdue books, a replacement fee of $110 will be assessed to your account, and your library privileges will be suspended. If you return the item to the Cline Library immediately, we will reduce the fee to a $10 non-refundable overdue fee.<\/p>\n We work hard to maintain a good reputation among lending libraries and, as such, must return our borrowed materials in a timely manner. However, we charge non-reciprocal libraries $20 IFM and $25 invoice for copies and loans.<\/p>\n Book loans outside of the U.S. are $35 IFM only,<\/u> and borrowers must indicate IFM charges “OK” or we cannot lend.<\/p>\n Media loans are $22 IFM or $25 invoice and are one (1) week checkout only. DDS does not lend media outside of the continental United States.<\/p>\n Policies<\/h5>\n We do not lend special collections, archives, reserve materials, maps, computer files, microforms, newspapers, periodicals, or current periodical issues. We lend from our electronic collections if the vendor license permits.<\/p>\n Lending Billing<\/h5>\n Transactions that are 8 weeks overdue or more will be sent to Billing Pending<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Before being billed, several different shelf checks are performed on the requests in question. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research”. If a user makes a request for or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
