Beginning on July 1st<\/strong>, we’re beginning a new retirement process for university-owned computers. Starting on the 1st, departments should contact ITS for assistance with retiring any desktop computers, laptops, or all-in-one computers that are ready for surplus.<\/p>\n What this means<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n ITS will collect the computer, securely remove university data, and prepare the device for transfer to Property Surplus.<\/a> You can also drop off a computer for retirement in person\u00a0at ITS\u2019 Building 54.<\/a><\/p>\n For peripherals and other hardware<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The process for retirement of other hardware and peripherals has not changed.
