Don&#8217;t send commands to the\u00a0listname\u00a0address<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">top<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"ID0ECB\"><\/a>Subscribing to a Listserv<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To subscribe yourself to a list (you can only &#8216;subscribe&#8217; yourself!) use the Subscribe and Unsubscribe command.<\/p>\n<p>Command Format: COMMAND ListServName<\/p>\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n<p>SUBSCRIBE ListName<br \/>\nUNSUBSCRIBE ListName<\/p>\n<p>LISTSERV will extract the email address from the &#8220;From:&#8221; line of your\u00a0message and add that address to the subscriber list.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">top<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"ID0EZB\"><\/a>List Owners Commands<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>List owners must use ADD and DELETE commands to subscribe or un-subscribe others to\/from a list.<\/p>\n<p>Command Format: COMMAND listname Full_name<\/p>\n<p>Examples:<br \/>\nADD sample-l John.Doe@nau.edu john doe<br \/>\nDELETE sample-l John.Doe@nau.edu<\/p>\n<p>Note:<br \/>\nThe Full_name should contain at least two words,\u00a0but it is also possible to add users without knowing the value\u00a0for Full_name.
