On May 15, 2020, NAU ITS was made aware that NAU users were unable to access central services that require the use of NAU credentials. This includes: staff email (IRIS), Two-Step Verification, NAU VPN, Peoplesoft (LOUIE), Skype, Microsoft Teams, and LinkedIn Learning. Please see below for updates:
May 18, 2020 at 12:10 PM: NAU ITS is aware that some individuals are still experiencing issues resulting from last Friday’s outage. This may affect (1) some users’ ability to utilize Skype for Business, and (2) some users getting emails delivered to their Gmail accounts instead of Exchange. We continue to investigate these issues, and will provide you updates.
May 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM: NAU ITS believes that most systems are fully operational. We are aware that there are some outlying problems. We will be closely monitoring the situation over the weekend. May 15, 2020 at 4:30 PM: Monsoon and PeopleSoft (LOUIE) Self-Service functions have now been restored, and are available. We are still working on other services at this time. NAU ITS will provide updates when other services resume. Thank you for your patience.
May 15, 2020 at 3:30 PM: NAU ITS is making progress in restoration of the critical systems. Some single-sign-on services via CAS are now working, others are anticipated to return by this evening. We will post as individual services are restored.

May 15, 2020 at 12:30 PM: NAU ITS continues to investigate this issue. We encourage users that are currently logged into any NAU systems to not quit or log out. At this time, there is still no estimated time to recovery. Updates will continue to be hourly.

May 15, 2020 at 10:15 AM: NAU ITS is investigating widespread reports of log-in failures. This is affecting VPN and other systems where you must enter your NAU credentials.
At this time, users are experiencing difficulties in logging into NAU sites that require an NAU login, connecting to the NAU VPN, accessing staff web mail (IRIS), and Linkedin Learning. We will provide updates as they happen.
