ITS is excited to bring Microsoft’s latest learning and development platform to NAU, combining the best of LinkedIn and Lynda.com, now known as LinkedIn Learning.
LinkedIn Learning offers a new, easy-to-use interface, a broad range of new features and instructional videos, combined with original Lynda.com content. Your Lynda.com viewing history, course completions, playlists, and other data will all migrate to the new LinkedIn Learning platform.
New look, same content
The upgrade will take place on Monday, August 12. The system will be unavailable during the upgrade, but once the move is complete, all of your previously accessed Lynda.com content will appear on the new platform so you can pick up right where you left off.
LinkedIn Learning provides the option to connect an existing LinkedIn profile with your LinkedIn Learning profile. This optional connection can be set up the first time you log into the new platform. By connecting your accounts, you can receive personalized recommendations based on what’s trending and what you’re interested in. This feature is optional, and even if you do connect your accounts, you can choose what shows up on your public LinkedIn profile.
Additional information about the upgrade and the new platform can be found on the LinkedIn Learning overview website.
