New student check-in<\/h1>\n

Welcome to NAU<\/h2>\n
All new international students are required to complete the ISSS check-in process upon beginning their program at Northern Arizona University. The check-in process consists of three required steps.<\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong> must be completed before you arrive in the United States.<\/li>\n
Steps 2 and 3<\/strong> must be completed after you arrive in the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Completing all three steps is required for International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) to activate your SEVIS record. Failure to complete the entire check-in process may result in your SEVIS record not being activated, which could place you out of valid F-1 or J-1 immigration status.<\/p>\n
