The University of Cagliari (Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Cagliari)<\/a>, is located in the historic capital of the Italian island of Sardinia, the second biggest island in the Mediterranean. \u00a0The gradual growth of the university has led to the current configuration in 6 Faculties (Biology and Pharmacy, Economics, Law, and Political Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Humanities, Medicine and Surgery, Sciences) and 17 Departments, which are responsible for achieving the primary objectives of the university: research and teaching.<\/p>\n

With over 25,500 students, and 450 incoming exchange students the University of Cagliari ensures an important contribution to the higher education of young people who choose to study in Cagliari and for the entire island community. University of Cagliari is member of EDUC, one of the first 17 \u201cEuropean Universities\u201d, alliances of HEIs funded by the European Commission in order to create a structural long-term cooperation supporting historical values of Europe, from inclusion to innovation.<\/p>\n
