Do you already have experience with a language? If you have language experience from either school or home there are a few options to make sure that you are in the correct course level of the language and that you are getting credit for the courses you test out of if you place into a higher level than 101. At NAU you can test into a higher level language course (proficiency\/placement tests) and\/or earn credits for lower level courses (retrocredit).<\/p>\n

Based on your previous language experience, enroll at your predicted entry level.
