Abstract

This curriculum unit is designed to address the specific needs and strengths of these students, recognizing the unique cultural and community context in which they are growing and learning. At this pivotal stage in their academic journey, students are on the brink of a significant transition—from middle school to high school—a period that often prompts a greater focus on their future aspirations and career possibilities. The “Quantum Career Compass” unit seeks to guide students through this transitional phase with a comprehensive, culturally relevant approach to career exploration, helping them connect their academic experiences with their personal and cultural identities.
