Biography

Anjanette Sahmea “Talashinem” of the Tobacco-Rabbit Clan from the village of Hotevilla. She is a daughter/mother/grandmother/sister/aunt/role model to many. Anjanette has 3 sons and 4 daughters, and one amazing grandson. She has taught on the Hopi reservation since 2000, and is a participant of cultural activities, and a speaker of Hopi Lavayi (language). She is a graduate of Northern Arizona University (B.S. and M.A.) and the University of Arizona (M.A.)
