Inclusion and Diversity Scholar Peer Mentor Program
The Inclusion and Diversity (ID) Scholars program connects first-year students to peer mentors who promote inclusive campus environment, connect students to resources and create community for our diverse programs. ID Scholar Peer Mentors utilize their passion for inclusion, intersectionality, and social justice to help create a better NAU community.
Goals of the Office of Inclusion’s ID Scholars Program:
- Goal 1: Facilitate engagement opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to connect with peers.
- Goal 2: Cultivate a sense of belonging and community through a cultural/identity inclusive environment.
- Goal 3: Connect students to support and resources that encourage holistic success at the University.
- Goal 4: Encourage an environment where students can discover and learn about their identity and opportunities to be their most authentic selves.
- Goal 5: Provide academic support and guidance throughout students’ college careers.
