Employees, their spouse and eligible dependents can receive reduced tuition at any of the three state universities.<\/p>\n<hr role=\"separator\" class=\"hr--transparent hr--transparent-15px not-in-view\">\n<div class=\"eplus-bg-color-row bg-color-nau-yellow\"><div class=\"eplus-bg-color-row-content\">\n<h2>New ETRP Form<\/h2>\n<div data-olk-copy-source=\"MailCompose\">Effective September 14th, the new <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.service-now.com\/hr?id=sc_cat_item&amp;sys_id=6e37d29a2bbac75059f5fc05e391bfe4&amp;sysparm_category=f81f8a189f231200d9011977677fcf51\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Employee Tuition Reduction Program (ETRP)<\/b><\/a> is now available through the <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.service-now.com\/hr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Employee Service Center<\/a>.<\/div>\n<hr role=\"separator\" class=\"hr--transparent hr--transparent-15px not-in-view\">\n<ul>\n<li data-olk-copy-source=\"MailCompose\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MailCompose\">View the <a title=\"https:\/\/nau.service-now.com\/hr?id=kb_article_view&amp;sys_kb_id=ef7b7906475bc71074e945e8036d43de\" href=\"https:\/\/nau.service-now.com\/hr?id=kb_article_view&amp;sys_kb_id=ef7b7906475bc71074e945e8036d43de\">ETRP\u00a0KB Article<\/a> to review specifics about the pre- and post-submission process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<div role=\"presentation\"><em><strong>Note<\/strong>: If you have already submitted a Fall 2026 ETRP through the previous form, you do not need to submit a new form.<\/em><\/div>\n<div role=\"presentation\"><\/div>\n<div role=\"presentation\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h2><strong>Who is eligible?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Regular benefit eligible employees<\/li>\n<li>Official NAU retirees<\/li>\n<li>Former employees receiving long term disability benefits with five years of continuous service.<\/li>\n<li>Designated affiliates<\/li>\n<li>Spouses and dependents of deceased employees may also be eligible for the benefit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Spouse and Dependent Children<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your legally recognized spouse is eligible for the benefit.\u00a0For your dependent child to be eligible they must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>meet the definition of \u201cchild\u201d as defined under IRS \u00a7152(f)(1)<\/li>\n<li>be your dependent for tax purposes.<\/li>\n<li>You will be asked to complete an affidavit confirming your child\u2019s eligibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/Employee-Tuition-Reductions-Dependent-Eligibility-Questions.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dependent eligibility questions<\/a>\u00a0to determine if your child is eligible.<\/p>\n<hr role=\"separator\" class=\"hr--transparent hr--transparent-15px not-in-view\">\n<h2>What is covered<\/h2>\n<p>The benefit is for <u>tuition only<\/u>. If you have submitted an ETRP within the previous OnBase system for this Fall 2026 semester, you do not need to submit another form through the new ETRP.<\/p>\n<!-- shortcode-button -->\n<div class=\"shortcode-button shortcode-button--Center\">\n      <a class=\"main-button\" href=\"https:\/\/nau.service-now.com\/hr?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=6e37d29a2bbac75059f5fc05e391bfe4&sysparm_category=f81f8a189f231200d9011977677fcf51\" target=\"_blank\">Submit an ETRP form<\/a>\n  <\/div>\n\n<p>All other NAU associated eligible individuals should contact Human Resources at <a href=\"mailto:NAUHRContact@nau.edu\">NAUHRContact@nau.edu<\/a> or 928.523.2223 for an application.<\/p>\n<hr role=\"separator\" class=\"hr--transparent hr--transparent-15px not-in-view\">\n<div class=\"eplus-bg-color-row bg-color-dark-blue\"><div class=\"eplus-bg-color-row-content\">\n<p><b>Rules to remember for NAU Employees<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be an active employee on the first day of NAU&#8217;s semester\\term, even if taking classes at ASU or UofA.<\/li>\n<li>You must submit a ETRP each semester.<\/li>\n<li>Each semester\\term, the ETRP form opens 90 days prior to the first day of that semester\\term at NAU and it remains open until the last day of that semester\\term at NAU.
