This change is the result of careful assessment to ensure quality coverage at a reasonable cost for retirees.<\/p>\n<p>NAU will continue to offer retirees several medical plan alternatives that offer enhanced coverage, lower costs, and expanded access to care.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose from Blue Cross Blue Shield or UnitedHealthcare PPO networks<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy lower premiums and broader pharmacy access (including CVS and Target)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Offers Non-Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans through UnitedHealthcare<\/li>\n<li>Designed to meet a wide range of healthcare needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u00a0Independent brokers offer additional plan options that may match your lifestyle and budget<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Medicare counseling<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Medicare is complicated. <\/strong>NAU will be sponsoring a virtual webinar about Medicare options. In addition, Retirees can receive one-on-one Medicare counseling at no cost.
