Supervisors, department liaisons, and co-workers are encouraged to print and post important announcement updates in units where NAU employees may not use their email accounts or work on computers on a regular basis.

Human Resources and Information Technology Services partnered to bring the first Technology Summit to campus.
What is the Technology Summit?
This day of learning is focused on the technology we use to make our jobs and lives easier. We are hosting sessions on Tableau (our data dashboard), WordPress, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom…just to name a few.
Where is the Technology Summit?
All sessions will be held in the 4000 rooms of the Health & Learning Center (bldg. 25).
What time is the event?
The event begins at 10am and runs until 5pm. Stay for as many or as little sessions as your schedule allows. Lunch will be provided.
What sessions are available and how do I register?
Tech Summit Session Descriptions. No need to pre-register, just show up to the sessions you are interested in. In addition to the sessions listed, there will be an ITS walk-up help desk available in the afternoon, from 1:30pm-3pm.
Be on the lookout for an email from NAU Training in a few weeks that will include the most up to date session information for the Technology Summit. We hope you can join us in January!
Payroll Deduction Option
If you have ever been interested in using our facilities then now is the perfect time to get involved! With the holidays and new year resolutions just around the corner, this membership can be a great motivation to stay active! The best part is that you don’t need to do it alone! Each Payroll Deduction member can sponsor a “Plus 1 member”. This program allows faculty/staff to take the overall cost of an 8-month membership with Campus Recreation and split it over 8 pay periods (payments start February 14th, 2020 and end on May 22nd, 2020). The membership itself begins the day you sign-up (between 12/1/19-1/31/20) and expires July 31st 2020. Members will then have the option to enroll in our Annual (12-month) PD membership (enrollment period lasting between 7/31-8/31). You can find our membership options on our website: Campus Recreation. All Payroll Deduct forms can be completed at the recreation or aquatic center front desks.

Tax Season Is Just Around The Corner
NAU now offers active employees an easier way to obtain their annual Tax Forms (W-2/1095c) electronically. No need to set up a new account or remember yet another new password, employees can simply log into LOUIE (Main Menu – Self-Service – Payroll and Compensation – Tax Forms W-2/1095c).

- If you do not sign up for Electronic Delivery your forms will be mailed to the mailing address in LOUIE.
- Deadline to sign up for Electronic Delivery of your tax forms is Friday, January 10, 2020, by 5 pm.
- Deadline to change your mailing address in LOUIE if you want to receive paper forms is, Friday, January 10, 2020, by 5 pm.
- If you do not sing up for Electronic delivery and you require a reprint there will be a charge of $8.00.
