Salary Reduction with Personal Flex Time Program
As a cost-saving measure related to the impact of COVID-19, a Salary Reduction with Personal Flex Time Program has been approved by the Arizona Board of Regents. Most new employees hired after July 1, 2020, and during the program participation dates will be required to participate in the program on a pro-rated basis. All new hires subject to the program will be notified in accordance with adopted Salary Reduction with Personal Flex Time Program’s guidelines and must comply with all requirements.
Are there any exemptions? Accordion Closed
Yes. The details of this are still being determined; however, we do know that positions not affected by these programs include:
- Positions with a gross annualized pay of less than $50,000.
- Student positions.
- Graduate teaching and research assistant positions.
- 100% Grant-funded positions
- Post Doctoral Scholars
- H1 Visa holders
