There’s still time to earn your HealthyU wellness incentive! The deadline to earn and record points is Friday, December 17 at 6 pm. Please note: if you record preventive care visits, please use the “Self-Attest” option which awards points instantly. If you select “Claims Data” it may take several weeks to post to your account, which could prevent you from earning the points required for the incentive.
A glitch was discovered in this pilot Sharecare year, therefore, the revised requirement for the $300 wellness incentive is to earn a minimum of 250 points (rather than 300 points) in the following manner:
- Complete the REQUIRED Real Age Test* for 50 points, then,
- Earn and record an additional 200 points, for a total of 250 points.
If you have already completed 300 points, that is great! Everyone who has 250 points or more, including the Real Age Test, will be awarded $300 in a paycheck in February 2022.
*If you completed the Real Age Test before July 1, 2021, you received $50 in a September paycheck and will receive the remainder ($250) in February.
HealthyU is NAU’s wellness incentive program. Active employees enrolled in the NAU BCBSAZ health plan may earn a wellness payment by participating in health and wellness activities and recording them on the Sharecare portal.
To get started, take your RealAge Test worth 50 points and earn $50. If you complete the RealAge test by July 1, 2021, you will receive $50 in your paycheck in September 2021. If you complete the RealAge test after July 1, 2021, you will receive the $50 in your paycheck in February 2022.
Don’t stop after taking the RealAge test! Earn an additional 250 points worth $250 by recording health visits, participating in wellness classes and events, working with a health coach, and engaging in an online Sharecare challenges. Log 300 total points by 12/17/2021 to earn a $300 wellness payment. (If you completed the RealAge test by July 1, 2021, you would receive $50 in September 2021 and the remaining $250 in February 2022.)
Your wellness payment will be included in your paycheck in February of 2022. The wellness payment will be identified as “HealthyU Credit” in the “Hours and Earning” section of your paycheck. Please note: you must be a current NAU employee at the time of the payout to receive the HealthyU wellness payment.

Not sure which wellness plan you are on?
Are you enrolled in the NAU BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) health insurance plan? If your member ID number begins with “NOR” you are eligible to participate in the NAU HealthyU Wellness Incentive Program!
If your member ID card begins with “SYS” you are on the State of Arizona BCBS plan. Information on your wellness incentive program, HIP (Health Improvement Program) may be found at wellness.az.gov/hip.
The voluntary HealthyU wellness program welcomes you to earn incentive money for engaging in preventive health and wellness activities listed in this document. Only the primary subscriber is eligible to receive an incentive payment and you must be enrolled in the NAU BCBSAZ plan at the time of payout to receive the incentive payment (February 2022).
