Because fugitive emissions from refrigerants possess a high global warming potential and are often excluded from standard tracking, this initiative establishes a comprehensive, campus-wide inventory of HVAC, refrigeration, and fire suppression equipment. By collaborating with Facility Services, Dining Services, and Transportation Services, the project team successfully synthesizes equipment data to map current environmental impacts.
