Our first event in October 2025 focused on repairing clothes. Our 20 volunteers worked nonstop for 4 hours to repair nearly 100 items of clothing, including Louie the Lumberjack’s mascot costume!<\/p>\n
Our Spring 2026 events will also be focused on clothing repair. For future Repair Labs, we hope to expand by repairing items such as appliances, electronics, jewelry, bikes, and more!<\/p>\n

By keeping clothes out of the landfill and giving them a new life, you are saving money and the planet!<\/span><\/p>\n Date and Time:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>Tuesday, April 21 @ 11:00am – 3:00pm<\/p>\n Location:<\/strong><\/span> Cline Library MakerLab<\/p>\n Event Schedule<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n We are still accepting sewing volunteers for this event! If you want to help repair clothes for the NAU community, sign up here<\/a>!<\/p>\n Do<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>bring clothes that need basic repairs, such as holes, tears, basic hemming, and zipper or button replacements.<\/p>\n Don’t<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>bring clothes that need extensive tailoring.<\/p>\n Do<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>bring up to 3 articles of clothing per Repair Lab event.<\/p>\n Don’t<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>bring a whole bag of clothes, keep it at 3 items per person.<\/p>\n Note that we may not be able to repair every item.
