GEAR UP for success<\/h1>\n

At the core of the 2019-26 grant cycle, Arizona GEAR UP focuses on three goals:<\/p>\n

  1. Increase academic performance and post-secondary preparation.<\/li>\n
  2. Increase high school graduation and postsecondary enrollment rates.<\/li>\n
  3. Increase educational expectations for students and increase knowledge of postsecondary options for students and families.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Arizona GEAR UP will accomplish our goals by supporting all students, which we refer to as the Five E\u2019s. We engage<\/strong>, empower<\/strong>, excel<\/strong>, elevate<\/strong>, and enrich <\/strong>the lives of Arizona students, schools, and communities to help level the playing field toward college access and attainment.<\/p>\n

    Goals of the 5E\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Increase preparation and performance for students to achieve postsecondary education.<\/li>\n
    2. Increase high school graduation rates and college attendance for our Arizona students.<\/li>\n
    3. Increase educational expectations for our students and reveal postsecondary options to students and their families.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      But we don\u2019t do it alone. Our community project partners and school partners play a vital role as we align with Achieve60AZ<\/a>,\u00a0to help ensure 60% of Arizona adults will hold a postsecondary credential or degree by 2030.<\/p>\n
