What we do at NAU Accordion Closed

In addition to educating students about the impact and importance of giving back, the SPC supports NAU’s Student Giving Campaigns through promotional and fundraising events, helping to build a strong tradition of Lumberjack pride and a culture student giving on campus.  All funds raised from the student body during the campaign directly help NAU students, through two scholarship created by the SPC, as well as other funds. Last year, the SPC raised over $6,000!

Making a difference for students and our community Accordion Closed

The SPC manages, promotes and fundraises for two scholarships during the school year: the NAU Student Philanthropy Scholarship and the NAU Senior Legacy Scholarship. Both scholarships are solely funded by the contributions of the NAU student body.

In addition to fundraising, SPC members also volunteer at numerous Flagstaff community centers and organizations, as well as here on the NAU campus. Service and giving back to our community is a major component of the SPC, and all members fulfill a required number of volunteer hours each semester. Building relationships with our community partners is rewarding in so many ways, and we are always seeking out new opportunities to make a difference.

Time for fun Accordion Closed

While our members work hard, they also like to have a good time! In addition to our fundraising and volunteer opportunities, we get together for fun, group-bonding activities throughout the school year, building life-long friendships in the process.
