FERPA’s primary function continued

Certainly, FERPA protects students’ education records from becoming public knowledge.

However, we can imagine that if every piece of information about a student were kept secret, it would be impossible to do our everyday jobs.

NAU cannot function unless certain information is accessible to a variety of different offices.
