Assistant Professor Charn McAllister – The W.A. Franke College of Business<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/div><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Charn McAllister is an Assistant Professor of Management in The W.A. Franke College of Business. Profess<\/span>or McAllister earned his B.S. in Engineering Psychology from the United States Military <\/span>Academy at West Point, his M.A. in Humanities from American Military University, and his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Florida State University. His research aims at improving employee well-being in the workplace with a particular focus on interpersonal mistr<\/span>eatment and organizational politics, and outlets publishing his work include<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Harvard Business Review<\/i>, <\/span>MIT\u2019s Sloan Management Review<\/i>, <\/span>Journal of Business Ethics, <\/i>and the <\/span>Journal of Applied Psychology<\/i>. Prior to joining academia, Charn served as a Scout Pilot and an Air Cavalry Troop Commander where he deployed twice to Iraq (OIF 07-09, OND 10-11). His military awards include the Bronze Star, Air Medal, and Combat Action Badge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Associate Professor Julie Piering – Department of Philosophy <\/strong><\/div><\/div>\n

\"\"Julie Piering is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Philosophy Department at Northern Arizona University. Piering holds the Richard A. Wood Professorship in Philosophy. Professor Piering has published several book chapters on ethics-related topics. Professor Piering earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Philosophy from Depaul University, and her Master of Arts and Doctorate in Philosophy from Emory University.<\/p>\n

Dean Kevin Gustafson – Honors College\u00a0<\/strong><\/div><\/div>\"\"<\/p>\n

Kevin Gustafson serves as Dean of the Honors College at Northern Arizona University. Prior to taking on the dean’s role at NAU, he served as an Associate Professor of English and Interim Dean of the Honors College at The University\u00a0 of Texas at Arlington. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Pacific Lutheran University and his Doctorate in English from the University of Virginia.<\/p>\n

Jennifer Wargin – College of Arts and Letters<\/strong> <\/div><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Jennifer<\/span>\u00a0Wargin earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Philosophy at Texas A&M University. Her research interests are in virtue theory and political leadership and their intersection. She has a special interest in the virtue of humility and has published work on the nature of humility and its compatibility with justified social activism. In addition to a Ph.D. in Philosophy,\u00a0Jennifer<\/span>\u00a0has an M.A. in Communication with a specialization in political rhetoric. In her downtime,\u00a0Jennifer<\/span>\u00a0enjoys playing with her cat S\u00f8ren and watching TV with her husband Bryce.<\/p>\n

Professor Eric D. Yordy – The W. A. Franke College of Business <\/strong><\/div><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Eric D. Yordy teaches business law, business ethics, and accounting ethics in The W. A. Franke College of Business. Professor Yordy\u00a0published the COVER model for ethical decision-making with Marketing lecturer Jennifer Mitchell in 2008.\u00a0 Since then, he has authored or co-authored numerous case studies using the COVER model and other ethical decision-making tools on topics such as the ethics of reverse mortgages, conflicts of interest, censorship in mobile application development, and marketing to children. He has served as Associate Dean of the business college and as the Interim Executive Director of the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Professor Yordy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wyoming, his Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School and his Masters of Education in Counseling from Northern Arizona University.<\/p>\n
