Education Ethics
Northern Arizona University has long been recognized as a leader in education, in Arizona and beyond. Our College of Education prepares teachers, principals and other leaders, counselors and school psychologists to work with students from early childhood through adult levels. The college’s mission is to prepare “professionals who are committed to make a positive difference for children, students, and adults…”
The College of Education’s accreditation by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and the Council for Accreditation and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) demonstrates a commitment to developing ethical school leaders of strong character. In addition, ethics is included in the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders and is embedded in nearly all educational leadership classes.
