Bierer teaches several management courses including business ethics, business communication, and others. She has more than 30 years of professional experience as a business owner, employee, consultant, award-winning writer, award-winning broadcaster, and journalist.

Bierer spent several decades working as a broadcast journalist, where ethics were at the forefront of each workday. She still enjoys researching and storytelling. Bierer spends much of her time teaching business ethics and thoroughly appreciates the rich conversations had in the Franke College of Business classrooms.

Additionally, Bierer owns a consulting agency that works closely with Arizona nonprofits.

Her main focus areas within ethics are business and hospitality, and leadership.
