Eric D. Yordy teaches business law, business ethics, and accounting ethics in The W. A. Franke College of Business. Professor Yordy published the COVER model for ethical decision-making with Marketing lecturer Jennifer Mitchell in 2008. Since then, he has authored or co-authored numerous case studies using the COVER model and other ethical decision-making tools on topics such as the ethics of reverse mortgages, conflicts of interest, censorship in mobile application development, and marketing to children. He has served as Associate Dean of the business college and as the Interim Executive Director of the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Professor Yordy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wyoming, his Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School and his Masters of Education in Counseling from Northern Arizona University.
