Associate Professor Luke Maring – Department of Philosophy 

Luke Maring is an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at Northern Arizona University. He received his Ph.D. from Georgetown University, completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and helps run Politics, Philosophy, and Law, an interdisciplinary that prepares students for careers in law and public service. His research interests include political and social philosophy, moral philosophy, and applied ethics. He has published on capital punishment, immigration control, the ethics of voting, and the Philosophy of Forgiveness.
