NAU Environmental Genetics and Genomics Laboratory
NAU Genomics Core Facility
The NAU Environmental Genetics and Genomics Laboratory (EnGGen) is the designated core facility for genomics research at Northern Arizona University. The lab provides genetic and genomic research support to a range of public and private institutions throughout northern Arizona pursuing environmental and biomedical research projects.
After many years of service, Dr. Lela Andrews, Core Facility Manager of EnGGen, left the university for an industrial position in June 2020. Many thanks to Lela for everything! Similarly, Dr. Gery Allan has transitioned away from the directorship of the core facility in the fall of 2020. EnGGen would not be the facility it is without Gery’s leadership and we are thankful for his efforts.
The university is currently considering updates to EnGGen for the 2020 academic year. At this time, the facility is unable to accept fee-for-service requests or instrument reservations. Access to the facility will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
The status of EnGGen will be updated as soon as possible. Your patience is appreciated.
