Who we are<\/h2>\n

Mission:<\/h4>\n

The mission of the NAU Office of Emergency Management is to protect the lives and property of the NAU community before a disaster strikes through preparedness, training and mitigation, and to coordinate prompt and effective response.<\/p>\n

Who we are:<\/h4>\n

The NAU Office of Emergency Management is located within the NAU Police Department.\u00a0 We are committed to the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors on our campus.<\/p>\n

NAU reviews its emergency operations plans annually and conducts regularly scheduled training and exercises with our community response partners<\/a>.<\/p>\n

NAU\u2019s emergency manager oversees the office operations with a part-time student intern who manages the Emergency Blue Light Phones. The OEM is supported by the Emergency Management Advisory Group<\/a> (EMAG)<\/p>\n
