It is open to all students in good academic standing from all majors.<\/p>\n<p>To successfully complete this program and earn a Peace Corps Prep certificate, students will build four core competencies through interrelated coursework, hands-on experience, and professional development support. The four competencies, or &#8220;learning objectives,&#8221; are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Training and experience:<\/strong> Take classes and complete fieldwork experience in one of six work sectors: education, health, environment, agriculture, youth in development, community economic development.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Foreign language proficiency<\/strong>: Develop your Spanish or French skills if you plan on serving in the Peace Corps in Latin America or West Africa.
