As a result of discussions at our 2016 Tribal Leadership Education Summit, NAU Center for American Indian Economic Development (CAIED) began hosting quarterly or semi-annual Tribal Economic Development Leaders (TEDL) meetings. Future meetings will be aligned with the Annual Tribal Economic Outlook Conference.<\/p>\n

A. Franke College of Business (FCB) Center for American Indian Economic Development (CAIED) hosted Tribal leaders, Tribal economic directors, and Tribal education directors of the surrounding tribes at the Tribal Leadership Education Summit. This half-day, interactive forum provided an opportunity to listen to issues of importance to the tribes, gain valuable insights, make contacts, and learn about resources for tribes and tribal entities engaged in higher education and economic development programs. Presentations by the director of CAIED, NAU\u2019s special assistant on Native American Affairs, NAU Native American Student Services (NASS), NAU Center for Native American and Indigenous Futures (CNAIF), and the NAU department of Applied Indigenous Studies (AIS) kicked off the event, giving tribes a brief summary of what NAU is actively doing for tribes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n \nPast meetings<\/h3>\n
