NAU Child Care Assistance<\/h2>\n

NAU provides a variety of support for student-parent child care assistance.\u00a0 Funding is available based on grant cycles.<\/h4>\n

Children ages two to five: “Child Care Assistance Means Parents In School” (CCAMPIS) scholarship funding is available for students taking a minimum of 6 credits a semester in any degree program. Funding is available through September 30th, 2026.<\/p>\n
Students must be Pell-eligible by income guidelines, degree-seeking and in good academic standing.<\/p>\n

The Early Learning and Development Center is a Department of Economic Security (DES) contracted site. Any family who qualifies for DES child care assistance can use the ELDC as their provider. DES provides childcare assistance to eligible families who participate in employment and specific education and training activities by providing financial support to offset a portion of childcare costs for children from birth through age 12. Child care assistance is also available for children experiencing homelessness and children referred by the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) or a Tribal child welfare program. The Stepping Stone scholarship is available to single parents majoring in sociology.\u00a0 Please visit nau.scholarshipuniverse.com<\/a> for more information.\u00a0 Deadline is March 15th.<\/p>\n
The Jos\u00e9 <\/span>Luis Cruz Rivera and Rima Brusi Endowed Fund supports NAU students who are parents or guardians of minors.\u00a0 Funding is intended to alleviate financial hardships or other obstacles confronting NAU student-parents in their pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree.\u00a0 Two $2,500 awards will be provided annually.\u00a0 Students and\/or NAU community members are encouraged to complete a grant request form when it becomes available.\u00a0 Eligible expenses may include but are not limited to, fees, rent, technology, transportation, supplies, daycare, and other living expenses related to the students’ ability to complete their degree.\u00a0 Applications open in the fall of each school year.<\/p>\n\n
