Leadership team for the DINÉ
The Diné Institute for Navajo Nation Educators is teacher-driven, which means K-12 teachers have a central role in making decisions about the Institute. All teachers who participate in seminars are considered Fellows during their year of participation. Experienced Fellows may choose to serve in additional leadership roles, including as a Teacher Representative or Seminar Coordinator.
Teacher leadership is supported by the Institute Director, University Advisory Council, and the Executive Committee. These positions are appointed by the President of Northern Arizona University.
