Advising<\/h1>\n

Help is available from the Department of Teaching & Learning when you need it<\/h2>\n

Northern Arizona University advisors will help you determine the courses to take as you work toward your degree in education. Many departments, like Teaching and Learning, also have staff and faculty members available to assist with input to ensure your path to degree completion is on the right track. Whether you\u2019re a new student, transfer student, online student, or continuing student, advising services<\/a> are available to you.<\/p>\n

First year\u00a0students and undeclared students<\/h3>\n

The Gateway Student Success Center<\/a>\u00a0can also be contacted by emailing or calling your NAU advisor.\u00a0Not sure who your advisor is? Use your student center in\u00a0LOUIE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Teaching & Learning students, sophomore level and above<\/h3>\n

Find assistance in the welcoming,\u00a0student-centered environment of the College of Education’s Office of Student Services<\/a>.<\/p>\n

NAU online and statewide campus students<\/h3>\n

Current NAU online and statewide campus students are encouraged to use\u00a0NAU\u2019s appointment planner<\/a>\u00a0to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor.<\/p>\n

Flagstaff mountain campus graduate students<\/h3>\n

Once you are admitted to a Teaching and Learning graduate program, you will be assigned an academic advisor.\u00a0 All students are encouraged to use\u00a0NAU\u2019s appointment planner<\/a>\u00a0to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor.\u00a0Questions can also be asked by emailing or calling your NAU advisor.\u00a0Not sure who your advisor is? Non-degree seeking students<\/h3>\n
