{"id":566,"date":"2017-11-28T23:39:05","date_gmt":"2017-11-28T23:39:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/multi.wp.nau.edu\/site-in-a-box-department\/?page_id=566"},"modified":"2024-10-03T16:54:33","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T23:54:33","slug":"support","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/department-teaching-learning\/support\/","title":{"rendered":"Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Research support<\/h1>\n<h2>NAU&#8217;s Office of Sponsored Projects supports Teaching &amp; Learning<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/osp\/\">Office of Sponsored Projects<\/a> (OSP) is Northern Arizona University\u2019s centralized office responsible for authorizing extramural funding proposals submitted to sponsors, negotiating with sponsors, and accepting awards.<\/p>\n<h3>The responsibilities of the OSP<\/h3>\n<p>The Office of Sponsored Projects has the institutional responsibility for assuring the Arizona State Board of Regents (ABOR), the public, and the federal government that the university has in-place systems and best practices for internal controls and fiscal accountability for sponsored project funds awarded to NAU.<\/p>\n<p>The OSP is a service oriented team that is dedicated to Northern Arizona University\u2019s research and academic missions. They are committed to excellence in providing support of sponsored projects.<\/p>\n<p>Each unit has their own set of OSP contacts.
