href=\"https:\/\/booktimist.com\/2021\/03\/07\/guest-post-james-lang-welcomes-michelle-miller-as-series-coeditor-for-teaching-and-learning-in-higher-education\/\">recently welcomed<\/a> as Series Coeditor for the <a href=\"https:\/\/wvupressonline.com\/series\/teaching_learning_higher_education\">Teaching and Learning in Higher Education\u00a0series<\/a> from West Virginia University Press, which publishes books and scholarly journals in a number of areas, including the social sciences and higher education.\u00a0 Dr. Miller is the author of <em>Minds Online: Teaching Effectively with Technology<\/em>\u00a0(Harvard University Press, 2014), the Attention Matters\u2122 online tutorial for students, and numerous articles on evidence-based pedagogy.\u00a0 She is currently completing a book for the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education series, titled\u00a0<em>Remembering and Forgetting in the Age of Technology: What the Science of Memory Tells Us About Teaching and Learning in a Wired World<\/em>.\u00a0 Her new role as coeditor extends her abilities to help instructors create more effective and engaging learning experiences, and to help students become more effective
