The email was from <a href=\"https:\/\/profile.directory.nau.edu\/person\/bk349\">Bj\u00f6rn Krondorfer<\/a>, director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/martin-springer\/\">Martin-Springer Institute<\/a>, which is focused on using the lessons of the Holocaust to help promote peace and tolerance. Krondorfer was looking for a graduate student to take on a project archiving an old box full of World War II photos.
