About Me:<\/h2>\n
$\"A$ <\/a>I teach courses in ancient Greek, Roman, Mediterranean, and world history, including topics courses on ethnicity and race, sexuality, and democracy. My degrees include a B.A. in Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations (Rice University, 2003, where I also competed in Cross-Country and Track & Field) and a Ph.D. in Ancient History (University of Pennsylvania, 2010, where I briefly participated in a campus Shakespeare company). I have also studied abroad and conducted research in Greece (American School of Classical Studies in Athens), Turkey (American Research Institute), and Germany (Institute for Epigraphy and Ancient History).<\/p>\n\n
