Thin Air Magazine<\/em><\/a> is an MFA student-led literary journal based out of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. We publish authors from around the world while cultivating community on the local level. \u00a0At 7,000 feet, we have no choice but to invite work that takes us to dizzying heights with its innovation and insight. We aspire to foster diversity, authenticity, surprise, and excitement while making the literary world accessible to everyone. Three decades in, we still can\u2019t forget these words from our founders: \u201cAll too often, the literary world takes itself too seriously\u2026Thin Air<\/em>\u00a0hopes to change that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Graduate English Organization (GEO) is an organization for graduate students enrolled in an English program at Northern Arizona University. We promote student involvement through social and professional activities. Our primary mission is the\u00a0PEAKS Interdisciplinary Conference<\/a>,\u00a0which we plan and oversee each spring semester on the NAU campus. We also hold a book sale each semester. Graduate Student Association of Applied Linguistics<\/h2>\n

NAU\u2019s\u00a0Graduate Student Association of Applied Linguistics<\/a> is an organization for students enrolled in the MA in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English as a Second Language, Teaching English as a Second Language certificate, and PhD in Applied Linguistics programs at Northern Arizona University. The mission of the GSAAL is to promote graduate student involvement in the Applied Linguistics community and to provide valuable educational and professional development opportunities.<\/p>\n

Every year, GSAAL is involved in several professional and social activities, including:<\/p>\n
