These may include:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specific assignments<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classroom management plan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unit development plan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Model lesson plans for\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Direct instruction<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inquiry lesson<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cooperative learning\/Plan for group work\/Reflections<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individual activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other activities<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Use the resource page as needed.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide other resources to add to the page<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For students on a growth plan (not in their final semester)<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The growth plan can be completed in a future practicum<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For students on a growth plan (in their final semester):<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They should complete all other activities of the course<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A plan should be developed to give the student the opportunity to complete the growth plan<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This may include finding summer placements<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inform chair of each case<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The student will receive an I or an IP for the course if the growth plan cannot be completed before the end of the semester<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>For Students:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stay in close contact with your Practicum Instructor of Record.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate with Mentor Teacher and support efforts for their students per the directions provided by the school and district leadership;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seek online teaching and learning resources and appropriate and feasible home learning activities to share with mentor teacher;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Further develop lesson planning skills based on appropriate grade-level standards as well as develop online learning content, if requested;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Engage in reflective practice regarding the instruction they have delivered to date as well as how recent events may impact students\u2019 social-emotional health and academic learning;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complete required practicum assignments and requested tasks to strengthen knowledge and skills based on feedback from completed observations, etc.;\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><i>Remain in contact with Practicum Instructor of Record.<\/i><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per our standard practices, for practicum students who have not met expectations based on the student\u2019s experience(s) completed to date, any additional time needed to demonstrate competencies will be determined by the university Practicum Instructor of Record who will evaluate cases individually to determine the best course of action for practicum students who have not met expectations.
