Occupational Experience Credit<\/h1>\n
Occupational experience credit can be obtained with a CTE certificate from the Arizona Department of Education. With 6000 clock hours of verified work experience in an approved occupational area you are eligible for a Provisional Career and Technical Education teacher certificate in Arizona.<\/p>\n

You can find more information about certification from the Arizona Department of Education<\/a>.<\/p>\n
You will receive up to 20 hours of NAU occupational experience credit once you have a copy of your CTE certificate and have taken your first CTE course. \u00a0This credit can be used to meet the 4 hours of internship credit and\/or hours in the Emphasis Requirements of the degree (credits cannot be “double dipped”).
