Six percent of postsecondary institutions earned a ranking position in 2022.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>RENO, Nev. (PRWEB) March 14, 2022<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4058 \" src=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/department-educational-specialties\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/Ranking-Badge-OMD-460x384.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"254\" height=\"212\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Northern Arizona University has been ranked as one of the year\u2019s best schools for earning a master\u2019s degree in educational technology online by the website OnlineMastersDegrees.org. You can see the full ranking here:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Online Master\u2019s Programs in Educational Technology for 2022:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onlinemastersdegrees.org\/best-programs\/education\/educational-technology\/\"><strong>https:\/\/www.onlinemastersdegrees.org\/best-programs\/education\/educational-technology\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>NAU\u2019s recognition comes at a time when enrollment in master\u2019s degree programs is on the rise. In October of 2021, the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) reported a 7.3 percent increase in first-time graduate student enrollment in Fall 2020. First-time, part-time student enrollment rose by 13.5 percent. The CGS report cites the growth of online and hybrid learning options as a primary driver of these trends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur goal was to find the master\u2019s programs that are making online learning a priority,\u201d said Kyle Darland, co-founder of OnlineMastersDegrees.org. \u201cEach school in our educational technology ranking offers at least one partially or fully-online master\u2019s degree option, and for a price students can afford.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>OnlineMastersDegrees.org researched and analyzed more than 7,700 accredited schools using data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and from the schools themselves. The website\u2019s data science team then applied a proprietary algorithm to rank all qualifying educational technology programs. Primary data points include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Number of online master\u2019s programs in subject area<\/li>\n<li>Number of online students<\/li>\n<li>Online program tuition and fees<\/li>\n<li>Percentage of students offered institutional aid<\/li>\n<li>Amount of institutional aid awarded per student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>About OnlineMastersDegrees.org<\/p>\n<p>OnlineMastersDegrees.org began in 2020 to support online learning at the master\u2019s level.
