The Department of Educational Leadership has many online, hybrid, and site-based degree options for current and aspiring leaders across the P-20 spectrum. The following list highlights the specific site-based opportunities we are currently recruiting for.<\/p>\n
For aspiring leaders in the Phoenix East Valley area who want to earn their principal certification, with or without a Master\u2019s degree. This is an accelerated cohort, with classes taught by well-known, effective school and district leaders in the East Valley. Classes are held roughly twice per month on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings in Gilbert.<\/p>\n
For aspiring leaders in rural communities who want to earn their principal certification, with or without a Master\u2019s degree. This is a fully online program with once-per-week evening zoom classes for 90 minutes. There are three possible degree options, with the shortest one taking just a single school year to complete. Classes are taught by highly effective school and district leaders in diverse rural communities from across Arizona.<\/p>\n
For aspiring leaders in the Tucson area who want to earn their principal certification, with or without a Master\u2019s degree. Classes are taught by effective school and district leaders in the Tucson area, with in person class meetings in the Flowing Wells area.<\/p>\n
For employees of the Maricopa Community College District who want to earn their MEd in Community College\/Higher Education Leadership. Classes are taught by MCCCD leaders and NAU faculty, with once-per-month Wednesday evening in-person meetings. Students earn internship credit through hands-on experiences, and complete their degree in two years.<\/p>\n
Teachers affiliated with the International Alliance Group can earn their MEd in Educational Foundations while teaching in U.S. schools.<\/p>\n\n
