An interdisciplinary field, the environmental humanities combines traditional humanities disciplines like art, history, literature, and philosophy with scientific knowledge to help recognize, analyze, and ultimately solve current issues like pollution, biodiversity loss, and climate change. <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.nau.edu\/Catalog\/details?plan=EHMN\">Learn more here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Medical Humanities minor develops cultural literacies and competencies relative to a variety of health environments and patient populations. Students are equipped to understand and work effectively within diverse communities and professional settings across cultural and religious contexts.
