The award, granted in collaboration with the MacArthur Foundation, recognizes a range of established and emerging leaders who help build an equitable community and play a major role in shaping the future of the city. Villalobos serves as the Assistant Curator for Performance and Public Practice at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago as well as lectures at the School of Art Institute of Chicago.
