At the end of every 8 week research summer we like to highlight every student&#8217;s research with a poster session followed by an awards luncheon. This year our keynote speaker was Dr. Cliff Poodry, a trailblazer for BIPOC (black, indigenous, &amp; people of color) voices in STEM. He has helped create the nationally renowned Society for Advancing Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) organization.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
