He is recognized as the Distinguished Senior in the College of Engineering, Informatics, and Applied Sciences. In addition, Adri\u00e1n is one of the 28 recipients of the Gold Axe Award, given to the most accomplished students across the university, as well as the recipient of the President&#8217;s Prize, the most prestigious award for undergraduates at NAU. He will be graduating as a triple major in Physics, Astronomy, and Physics: Secondary Education.<\/p>\n<p>This past April, Adri\u00e1n presented the results of his research work done with APMS professor In\u00e8s Monta\u00f1o at the 2019 Arizona\/NASA Space Grant Statewide Symposium.
