At NAU he is PI of research programs on the design of novel cryptographic based on Memristors, MRAMs and ReRAM. He worked in the smartcard industry at Gemplus (now Gemalto), and in the POS\/secure payment industry at Ingenico. He spent 15 years at Motorola Semiconductor (now NXP-Freescale) where he served in multiple capacities including CTO and was named \u201cDistinguished Innovator\u201d and scientific advisor of the Board of Director.
