What is Fraternity and Sorority Life?

Mission and Values Accordion Closed

NAU Mission:

Inspiring leaders to create an inclusive community that focuses on academic excellence, making a difference and enhancing the social experience of members

Values:

Friendship/Family – the NAU Fraternity and Sorority Life community serves as a family away from home where students build a bond of brotherhood/sisterhood/siblinghood unmatched by any other student organization on campus. These friendships are for a lifetime.

Inclusion – the NAU Fraternity and Sorority Life community strives to make everyone feel welcome and included.

Leadership – Members of NAU fraternities and sororities are seen as leaders on campus. Individual chapters, our three governing councils, and Fraternity and Sorority Life staff provide a multitude of leadership opportunities and trainings for our Fraternity and Sorority Life community.

Scholarship – Fraternities and sororities strive for the development of scholastic excellence among their entire membership.

Service – Service is a way of life for the NAU FSL community. Each year NAU fraternities and sororities participate in community service and philanthropy events that impact the Flagstaff community and beyond.
