Faculty Senate Curriculum & Assessment Committees
Faculty Senate Curriculum & Assessment Committees are a set of standing committees of the Faculty Senate. Members are elected to positions through committee elections, and faculty typically serve three-year terms. The focus of all of the Faculty Senate's curriculum and assessment committees is to ensure faculty stewardship of curriculum and the assessment of student learning at Northern Arizona University. Committees vary based on their responsibility for specific areas of curriculum and assessment at NAU.
The Liberal Studies Committee oversees the curriculum and assessment of the Liberal Studies Program.
The Diversity Curriculum Committee oversees the curriculum and assessment of the Diversity Requirement.
The University Undergraduate Committee ensures the quality of curriculum design and assessment of undergraduate programs.
The University Graduate Committee ensures the quality of curriculum design and assessment (as well as other functions) of graduate programs.
The Curriculum & Assessment Coordinating Committee coordinates the application of curriculum and assessment standards of Faculty Senate Committees and College Curriculum & Assessment Committees.
