NAU’s CSTL contributes to Flagstaff Community STEM Celebration

The Flagstaff Community STEM Celebration went virtual this year with the help of NAU’s Center for Science Teaching and Learning.

Anne Hamlin of the CSTL and STEM City board member helped coordinate the virtual week-long event that featured local STEM organizations with videos about how they use STEM in their daily work.

The videos premiered each night the first week of May and are indefinitely available.

Getting to Know CSTL: Meet Theresa Fuller

Theresa is Assistant Clinical Professor with the NAUTeach program at the CSTL. She started as a mentor teacher for NAUTeach while also teaching middle and high school mathematics here in Flagstaff. She has a B.S. in Education from Central Michigan University and a M.Ed. with a Technology Emphasis from Lesley University. Meet Sean Ryan, Professional Development Coordinator/Research Associate at the Center.

Sean serves as the Principal Investigator or Senior Personnel on several grants that focus on STEM Education for K-20, data management, and community engagement projects.
